UMC Food Ministry
An extension Ministry of the Covington/Northern KY District of the United Methodist Church. It is overseen by a board of directors including: our District Superintendent as President, representatives of churches and other organizations at central kitchen locations, the Chief Operating Officer of the YMCA of Cincinnati, the Chief Executive Officer of the Children's Home of Northern KY, a local pastor, and a youth pastor in our ministry area.
UMC Food Ministry is always expanding its horizons through cooperation with many notable organizations around the area.
What we do
We partner with non-profit organizations (Churches, clubs, housing authorities, governmental agencies) to provide food to children who are in areas where there is a substantial population of children who receive free and reduced lunches in their schools.
